The Diamond Way Buddhism Center in Brno invites you to an open house on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 18 Trtílkova Street, in the Divišova čtvrť district of Brno.

Come visit the Brno Buddhist Center, watch a film, and meet people who have been practicing Buddhism for a long time. The program also includes a short lecture on Buddhism (will be held in Czech). There will be time for your questions afterwards, and you’ll also have the opportunity to try a short Buddhist meditation. An open house  is the perfect opportunity for anyone curious about what the 2,500-year-old teachings of Buddha can offer to people today.

Program:

4:00 PM:  Open house begins.
4:30–6:00 PM:  Screening of the documentary film “Hannah: Buddhism’s Untold Journey” (in English with Czech subtitles). The film has won numerous awards at international festivals.
7:00–8:00 PM: A brief lecture on Buddhism (will be held in Czech), followed by an introduction to meditation (10–15 minutes). Meditation on the 16th Karmapa. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers to follow.
